ABOUT THE ARTIST
Mark Arian B. 1947 — Currently living in San Diego, Ca.

"American-born master artist Mark Arian, whose work graces the collections of cultural icons such as George Harrison, Michael Jackson, the former Prince of Saudi Arabia, the Princess of Iran, and leading industrialists across China and Asia, first recognized art's transcendent power at age fourteen while viewing a Rembrandt masterpiece.

At twenty-one, Mark devoted himself to the contemplative life of a monk. Over the next eighteen years, his spiritual community fostered his artistic growth through intensive study, global travel, and countless hours dedicated to painting.

His extensive formal training — spanning the Angelo Frudakis Academy of Classic Realism in Philadelphia, Barnstone Studios in Allentown, a prestigious private art academy in Florence, Italy, and both the La Jolla Atheneum and Watts Atelier in San Diego — further refined his vision and technique.

Arian's style, known as Poetic Realism, captures the subtle interplay between the tangible and the spiritual, drawing collectors worldwide into a contemplative exploration of life's deeper meanings. Museums, corporate collections, and discerning collectors around the globe continue to acquire Mark Arian's works, affirming their lasting cultural significance."
